EXCISE TAX CHANGES FOR VAPING PRODUCTS 2025

Effective on March 18, 2025, new rules have come into effect regarding the excise tax on vaping products in Canada.

Which Provinces are affected?
The following provinces will now have new provincial excise tax rules for vaping products: 

  • • Alberta
  • • Manitoba
  • • New Brunswick
  • • Prince Edward Island
  • • Yukon

What's changing? 
Effective March 18, 2025, all vaping products in these provinces will need to have a province-specific excise stamp to be legally sold. 

How does this affect you?

  • • For Online Purchases: If you're buying from www.envi-vape.com or a retailer that ships to one of the affected provinces, after March 18, 2025, expect to see new province-specific excise stamps on the products with new pricing. 
  • • For In-Store Purchases: If you're shopping in one of these provinces, the products you buy after April 1, 2025, will have a new excise stamp, with the new pricing.
